General Qualities & Characteristics

Gulflube Super HD Motor Oil is formulated with high quality base stocks to which a balance of modern dispersant-detergent additives, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, anti-wear and anti-rust agents are added.

 
Performance Specifications
Gulflube Super HD Motor Oil meets or exceeds the requirements for API Service Classifications CC and SE and oil exceeds the performance requirements of MIL-L-46152B, obsolete MIL-L-2104C, Ford ESE-M2C153-D and General Motors Specifications 6085M.  In addition, Gulflube Super HD Motor Oil meets the requirements of European specifications CCMC-G2 and D1 and Mercedes Benz 226-1/226.0. NOTE: In India, Bengladesh, China and the Philippines, this grade is available in SE/CC performance level.
 
Application Requirements
Formulated with high quality base stocks which minimize combustion chamber deposits, Gulflube Super HD Motor Oil is particularly suited for use in gasoline and diesel engines operating under light to medium operating conditions.  Its additive package protects against sludge, varnish, rust, lacquer and wear of piston rings, cams and valve train components.
 
Recommendations
Gulflube Super HD Motor Oil is recommended for use in gasoline and light and moderate duty diesel engines operating under high or low temperature conditions where service requires oils meeting API Service Classifications CC, SE or SD.  This product is also recommended for use in naturally aspirated heavy duty diesel engines when good quality fuel of low sulfur content is used and where the manufacturer does not specify a performance level beyond API CC/SE.
Gulflube Super HD Motor Oil is especially recommended for use in vehicles operated in stop and go service such as taxi cabs, city delivery vehicles, and public utility fleets.
