General Qualities & Characteristics

Gulfcrown MP is a high quality, lithium grease suitable for a wide range of applications. It is available in NLGI 1, 2 and 3 consistencies. Gulfcrown MP has very good mechanical stability, ensuring  long life. It is specially inhibited against rust and corrosion and has superior resistance to the washing-out action of water. Gulfcrown MP maintains good pumpability, even in cold weather, and is ideal for centralized grease systems.

Application Requirements

Gulfcrown MP is formulated for use in hostile environments where equipment is subject to temperature up to 130°C and water contamination is a serious problem. The high quality base oils used in the manufacture of these greases have good resistance to oxidation and because of their low pour point, they provide adequate lubrication at temperatures as low as -30°C. These features allow Gulfcrown MP to have a longer life in bearings with much less deterioration than greases of lesser quality. Because of their superior performance, lithium based greases have superseded sodium and calcium based greases in many applications.

Recommendations
Gulfcrown MP, as a true multipurpose grease, is suitable for applications found in industrial and automotive applications, such as electric motor bearings, fan bearings, pump bearings, wheel bearings, steering joints and other plain and anti-friction applications.
It is recommended for use where water contamination is encountered, and is suitable for bearings operating at temperatures up to 130°C if replenished frequently. Its pumpability makes it especially suitable in centralized grease systems, even at low temperatures. Because of their superior performance, lithium based greases have superseded sodium and calcium based greases in many applications.
